Top Ten books for people who like Kristin Cashore

So I have decided to start participating in Top Ten Tuesdays hosted by the Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s topic is Top Ten Books For People Who Like Kristin Cashore

1. The Lioness Rampant series by Tamora Pierce

2. The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa: This is not your typical paranormal book and it features a main character who must try to be good regardless of what people think she is, much like Cashore's Katsa.

3. The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson: Elisa really comes into her own in this book which reminded me of Cashore's Fire.

4. Divergent by Veronica Roth: Tris is such a strong character who is willing to fight to be her own person!

5. The False Princess by Eilis O'Neal

6. The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab

7. The Agency series by Y.S. Lee: While this is a mystery book and not fantasy I think Mary would be a good fit for lovers of Cashore's heroines.

8. The Birthmarked series by Caragh O'Brien

9. Rampant and Ascendant by Diana Peterfreund

10. Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon

and an extra one:

11. Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken

  2. I need to start on the Graceling series still. I've heard many great reviews for them. :) Thanks so much for the list. I loved Divergent.
